Froobi.com is the new direct-to-consumer division of a global semiconductor distributor thatÂ’s been helping manufacturers clear out their excess and discontinued electronic component inventory since 1994. We have been specializing in directly purchasing very large quantities of a manufacturer's slow-moving inventory and finding a home for them at other OEMs, distributors & national retail chains worldwide.
Froobi is our first leap to make some of our deals available directly to consumers through our own branded site to create wins for both our manufacturing partners and for consumers. Yes, we have already toyed with eBay & the gazillion other marketplaces over the years but our head analyst concluded that it would take 7-10 years to sell through some of the stuff we get and we would end up selling vintage collectors items (or paperweights) by the time we got through selling everything.
The deals on our site are real and backed by our ISO-9001:2000 compliant distribution facilities. However, our website is currently in "beta" mode and we are constantly working to add features so please excuse any hiccups you may encounter during our beta run. Rather than wait until everything's set up perfectly, we thought we'd give you a sneak peak of what's to come while giving our team a chance to streamline our website & backend fulfillment operations for high volume shipments once we officially launch.
