This size-specific, double-butted 3/2.5 titanium tubing dramatically increases bottom bracket stiffness, improving acceleration and climbing efficiency without making the frame heavier or harsh to ride. Meanwhile, the geometry that’s helped the Extralight win multiple awards and charm the pants off reviewers and professional riders alike remains the same. Like every Merlin, the Extralight is hand-built, hand-polished and hand-engraved in-house to provide you with a frame that is not only incredibly strong, fast, and light, but a true work of art. This complete build kit is based on the Shimano Ultegra 6600 drivetrain, with Ritchey carbon bars, seatpost and stem and a titanium-railed fi’zi:k Arione saddle.
