Perikles
Athens, the birthplace of democracy, could look back on her leadership against the might of Persia with pride. As always, though, pride comes before the fall. Sparta and the other city-states of ancient Greece decided that Athens needed to be brought back down to earth, resulting in the Peloponnesian War.
In Perikles each player represents a Greek family with political influence spread across the six main cities of Greece. Players will use their influence to gain control of these cities, which in turn allows them to use their military forces to win glory on the battlefield. Over each turn, players will use their political savvy to ensure that members of their family are in leadership positions in as many cities as possible. Once leadership is established, armies march and battle over famous battlefields, while historical figures influence events. Finally, leaders die and the best of them have statues erected in their honor… and the game (and the war) goes on.
Quicksand
In Quicksand, each player controls one of six explorers racing to discover the hidden temple. Play cards to move your explorer closer to the temple, move your opponents’ explorers onto quicksand, or discover secret treasures to help you win the game.
Incognito
It is Carnival in Venice, and you are seeking your partner, one of three other world famous secret agents. Your mission is to make contact with that agent and trade information that will allow the two of you to break into a safe containing the last known whereabouts of a mysterious figure known only as “the Grand Old Man.” But beware, for another team of agents has been sent to Venice as well, to steal the information before you, and one mistake could cost you your life.
In Inkognito: The Card Game, each player is assigned the role of one of four secret agents: Lord Fiddlebottom, Colonel Bubble, Agent X, or Madame Zsa Zsa, and must deduce who the other players are by arranging meetings with them to share tidbits of information. The players may also meet up with “the Ambassador” to gain valuable knowledge about the other spies. The first player to deduce the identities of the other agents and meet up with their partner wins the game.
